San Diego: It was wheels up once again in December, as our great Sultan continued his quest to see every country in the world. There are 193 nations on the planet. To date, our Sultan has visited all but one. That’s right, 192 countries!

We started with a 2,200 page recap of this valiant end-of-year journey, detailing all of its thrills and chills in 17 glorious chapters, including a foreword and index…but alas, our editing department demanded we scale it down to just one photo from each of the twelve countries that The Sultan saw over the break, so here goes:

Country 184: New Zealand
The Sultan enjoyed the clean and quiet city and especially appreciated the amazing food he sampled while exploring Auckland. He found the best fish taco and a few other surprises along the way.  You can see more photos and his full report on New Zealand HERE.

Country #185: Vanuatu
The Sultan enjoyed exploring Vanuatu, from the market to its seaside parks.
You can see more photos and his full report on Vanuatu HERE.

Country #186: Samoa
The Sultan loved exploring the island and all of its treasures. He’d experience some of the best hospitality ever here.
You can see more photos and his full report on Samoa HERE.

Country #187: Kiribati
One of the least-visited countries in the world, this one was very special. The Sultan enjoyed trekking through tiny villages and finding deserted beaches.
You can see more photos and his full report on Kiribati HERE.

BONUS: Fiji
After roughing it for a few days in Kiribati (the hotel and restaurants there were not up to Slowjamastani standard), The Sultan enjoyed the royal treatment and some recovery time at a nice resort in Nadi.
You can see more photos and his full report, coming soon, HERE.

Country #188: Solomon Islands
A quick overnight in the Solomons was all it took for The Sultan to catch the vibe here. A vibrant city, nice people and fun fish market. What more do you need?
You can see more photos and his full report, coming soon, HERE.

Country #189: Papua New Guinea
Security was on full alert as The Sultan toured the second most dangerous city in the world, Port Moresby.
You can see more photos and his full report, coming soon, HERE.

BONUS: The Autonomous Region of Bougainville
Bougainville may very well become the world’s newest country. It recently passed a referendum for independence and we think they’d make a great ally of Slowjamastan!
You can see more photos and his full report, coming soon, HERE.

BONUS: The Philippines
It was back to the Philippines for two nights while transiting through Manila to #190.
You can see more photos and his full report, coming soon, HERE.

Country #190: Palau
A diver’s paradise, our Sultan took in some of the world’s best snorkeling and enjoyed slathering himself with the sacred white mud of Milky Lagoon.
You can see more photos and his full report, coming soon, HERE.

Country #191: Federated States of Micronesia
A beautiful bay, ancient ruins and wonderful people (and doggies), Micronesia gave The Sultan a warm feeling inside (or was that the swordfish souffle?)
You can see more photos and his full report, coming soon, HERE.

Country #192: The Marshall Islands
This is where the US tested all those nukes after WWII. Lots of history here. The Sultan even infiltrated the radio airwaves here!
You can see more photos and his full report, coming soon, HERE.

BONUS: Hawaii
Did you know The Sultan’s Slow Jams program airs each Sunday night in Honolulu?
You can see more photos and his full report, coming soon, HERE.
