My recent stay at a hospital made me acutely aware of the need for the croc message to get out to doctors, nurses, nurses aides, house maintenance dietary folks and elevator repairmen. So I posted a sign on my door appointing myself as Ambassador of Slowjamastan, no crocs allowed. I was amazed at how well I was treated by the staff after that. One beautiful young nurse would not enter my room until I issued a special emergency crocs pass for her. My 4 day stay turned into a lot of fun and sorely needed attention as I got a cancer diagnosis while I was there. God’s love is real and he displays it through our families, friends and dedicated professionals who really do care.
